The faculty awards undergraduate and graduate degrees (diploma, master's, and doctorate) in more than twenty scientific disciplines, making it one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Egypt. The Faculty of Science at Assiut University was the first science faculty in Egypt to receive accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). This is due to its advanced research capabilities and distinguished academic competencies, many of whose members received their qualifications from prestigious international universities. Since its founding, the faculty has contributed to graduating generations of scientists and experts who have influenced the scientific scene locally and internationally.
