Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Faculty of Computers and Information at Assiut University and the South Egypt Cancer Institute at Assiut University.
This protocol aims to enhance cooperation between the two institutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by: Professor Dr. Tayseer Hassan Abdel-Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Assiut University; Dr. Ibrahim El-Awady, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Computers and Information at Assiut University; Professor Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Magd, Dean of the South Egypt Cancer Institute at Assiut University; and Professor Dr. Hosny Badrawy, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies at the Institute. This protocol aims to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between the Faculty and the Institute through the exchange of expertise and the organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences in interdisciplinary fields shared by the Faculty of Computers and Information and the medical sector. Alleviating the suffering of cancer patients
Adopting modern research and scientific methods Continuously developing medical databases Employing artificial intelligence and data analysis technologies Supporting interdisciplinary specializations between the college and the institute This cooperation comes within the framework of Assiut University's commitment to supporting scientific research and its applications in serving the community, especially in the medical field.
