In a detailed explanation, Dr. Hassan Al-Hawari defined the credit hour system, which is characterized by a set timeframe based on the main academic track rather than academic years. It relies on assigning a specific value to each course based on the time unit of the hour, thereby determining the number of study hours required to complete elective and mandatory courses that serve the specialization according to the baskets. He emphasized the importance of the role of academic advising in this system to support students and help them understand it well in order to make appropriate decisions for themselves.Dr. Omar Sayed Khalil also extended congratulations to the Dean of the Faculty and the faculty members on the commencement of the implementation of this regulation and confirmed that there is a joint cooperation protocol between the Faculties of Arts and Education and the University Teaching Development Center to prepare specialized training courses in the credit hour system and academic advising.
