Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, witnessed today, Sunday, July 6, the major festive events organized by the University in celebration of the twelfth anniversary of the Glorious Revolution of June 30, within the framework of the University's constant keenness to commemorate this immortal national anniversary, and emphasize its role in instilling hope and determination in the souls of young people, and developing the spirit of challenge and the ability to achieve and face challenges.
This came in the presence of a high-level delegation of leaders and officials, including Major General Sayed Radwan Sani, assistant commander of the Southern Military Region, Commander of the military intelligence office in Assiut Governorate, and a media expert on moral Affairs.
The ceremony was also attended by the leaders of Assiut University, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Abdulalim, vice president of the University for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Jamal Badr, vice president of the University for graduate studies and research, Dr. Madiha Darwish, dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and general supervisor of student activities, engineer Ayman Ayad, director of the Information Technology Institute, Assiut branch, Mr. Shawkat saber, Secretary General of the university, as well as several military, Executive and popular leaders, and the Islamic and Christian clerics, deans and vice-deans of Colleges, faculty members and their assistants, university students, as well as youth welfare officials and the family of "students for Egypt".
At the beginning of the celebration, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy welcomed the University guests and the distinguished attendees, stressing that this anniversary represents a milestone moment in Egypt's modern history With their free will and national consciousness, Egyptians set the greatest epic to restore the homeland's identity and future.
The president of the University stressed that the June 30 Revolution was not just a fleeting moment, but formed a starting point towards the construction of the New Republic, and a watershed stage that restored the homeland's prestige and opened wide horizons for construction and development.
Dr. El-Minshawy congratulated His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the president of the Republic, the great Egyptian people, the heroes of the armed forces, and the valiant policemen on the occasion of this cherished national anniversary, which restored the homeland's stability and paved the way for a bright future.
Dr. El-Minshawy pointed out that the June 30 Revolution confirmed to the world that the will of the Peoples is invincible, and that Egyptian national security is a red line that cannot be ignored, stressing that Egypt will remain strong and safe despite the challenges and conflicts surrounding it, and that it is moving at a steady pace towards construction and development.
Dr. El-Minshawy stressed that Assiut University continues its national and developmental role as a major partner in the process of building the nation and the industry of the future, pointing to the renaissance witnessed by the University in the education and scientific research system, development and modernization projects, support for international classifications, accreditation and quality, as well as achievements in infrastructure and University Hospitals, in a practical embodiment of the state's vision towards building the Egyptian human and developing his capabilities.
In his speech, the president of the university also touched upon the current challenges and the difficult and complex regional and international reality, starting from the war in the Gaza Strip to the conflicts and conflicts in neighboring countries, stressing Egypt's steadfastness on its national positions and its support for peace based on justice, and its rejection of any attempts to displace or blackmail, while adhering to the protection of its national security.
At the end of his speech, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy addressed a message to the students of Assiut University, as the hope of the homeland and the makers of the future, calling on them to be proud of the achievements and giant projects achieved by the state, and its efforts in facing challenges, saying: "you are today's partners and tomorrow's leaders, and the driving energy towards building a modern Egypt".
He also expressed his deep appreciation and tribute to the righteous martyrs of the Fatherland, who sacrificed their lives in redemption for Egypt, and addressed greetings to them, and to all those who contribute to protecting the Fatherland and building its renaissance.
The ceremony included an educational seminar entitled "June 30 between challenges and achievements", which discussed the most prominent challenges faced by the Egyptian state and the most important achievements achieved after the revolution.
The ceremony also included the screening of a documentary film entitled " The Revolution of building a homeland .. June 30", which addressed the March of achievements achieved in various development sectors after the revolution.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of distinguished national artistic performances by students of the Faculty of specific education and faculty assistants, under the supervision of Dr. Yasmin Al-kahki, dean of the faculty, and under the technical supervision of Dr. Muntaser Al-Qolalli, head of the Department of music education, and the training and leadership of Dr. Amani Jade, teacher at the Department.
At the end of the ceremony, a number of commanders, officers, and soldiers of the Southern Military District were honored in recognition of their honorable national role.
