The President of Assiut University announces the issuance of republican decisions to appoint new deans for the faculties of social work and commerce

Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, revealed that new republican decisions have been issued appointing Dr. Saudi Dr. Mohamed Hassan Abdel Rahim, professor in the Department of Social Planning at the Faculty of Social Work, as dean of the faculty, succeeding Dr. Hamdi Abu Musaed, the former dean of the faculty. Dr. Saudi Mohamed Hassan held a number of administrative positions include his position as the college’s vice dean for community service and environmental development in March 2019, as well as head of the social planning department from 2017 until April 2019 and the department’s supervisor until now, also his position as director of the social research and training center in the college since 2016 until now.

The President of Assiut University also announced that the republican decisions also included the appointment of Dr. Alaa Abdel Hafeez, a professor in the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Commerce, as dean of the faculty, succeeding Dr. Abdel Salam Noir, the former dean of the faculty, where Dr. Alaa Abdel Hafeez held a number of important administrative positions in the faculty, which included his position as vice dean for Community Service and Environmental Development in March 2020, as well as his position as vice dean for Education and Student Affairs in September 2015, and being the head of the Political Sciences Department since 2015, in addition to his position as Director of the Marketing and University Services Center.
