Prof. El-Minshawy: the hospital continues liver transplants and the success rates have exceeded 85% like its global counterparts

  Prof . Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, received a report on what was issued by the Higher Committee for Organ Transplantation, affiliated with the presidency of the Council of ministers, to renew the license granted to Al-Rajhi hospital, Assiut University, to continue its program in liver transplantation, for three years, according to the terms of the committee approved in this field, as this license is the fifth for Al-Rajhi hospital, in light of its success in the field of liver transplantation.

    The liver transplant program at Al-Rajhi Hospital is one of the prominent signs within Assiut University Hospitals, which gives hope to many patients suffering from liver diseases in late stages at the level of Upper Egypt and expatriates from various Arab countries, through continuous follow-up and direct supervision from: Dr. Alaa Attiyah, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, chairman of the board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Sherif Kamel, Director of Al-Rajhi Hospital, Dr. Bashir Abu Al-Saud, Deputy Director of the hospital for administrative affairs and quality, head of the liver transplant team at the hospital, and.

 The president of Assiut University pointed out, according to the submitted report, that so far a liver transplant has been performed; with success rates exceeding 85% like its international counterparts, stressing that the license renewal represents a new certificate; reflecting the quality, excellence of the hospital, the extent of effort, and continuous work; to alleviate patients and reduce waiting lists, according to the strictest medical standards, and the professionalism organized for that.
