The Department of military education at Assiut University organized a lecture on: "The concept and dimensions of national security within the framework of comprehensive State forces", within the activities of the military education course universities, on Tuesday, February 4, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Rabie Kamel, head of the military education department at Assiut University.

 Prof. El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, expressed the University's appreciation for the role provided by the popular defense forces and the military through the Department of military education at Assiut University to its students, training and awareness contribute to instilling the values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, stressing the keenness of the university administration to instill the right values among its students, through seminars and educational lectures, pointing out that the lecture discusses the concept of security, and the efforts of the Egyptian state to achieve it within the framework of justice and equality among citizens.

  Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla also stressed the importance of the lecture topic, which aims to develop the spirit of loyalty and belonging, consolidate the national spirit among all students, qualify students physically and psychologically, and prepare them to engage in national service according to the different stages of recruitment, and prepare them to acclimate to military life early, which helps them to commitment and self-discipline, pointing out the need to familiarize students with the vital and developmental role played by the armed forces to advance development in various fields.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Rabie Kamel also praised the cooperation with Assiut University and the organization of events that develop the spirit of belonging to the homeland and consolidate the correct concepts for its protection within the framework of the activities of military education courses universities.
