Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, congratulated the university students on achieving the title of "University geniuses" championship for the seventh season, stressing his pride in their outstanding achievement that reflects their scientific and cultural superiority, wishing them continued success and excellence in the upcoming competitions.
Dr. El-Minshawy praised the efforts of the students and the supervisory board who contributed to the preparation of the team, pointing out that this achievement strengthens Assiut University's position among Egyptian universities, and indicates the excellence of its students in various fields, and also stressed the University's keenness to support student activities and scientific competitions that contribute to the development of students ' skills and hone their talents.
Assiut University won the "University geniuses" competition cup for the seventh season after achieving the highest scores, as the University Students team managed to win the final match against Mansoura University with a score of 145 - 75. The match witnessed a strong competition through which the students of Assiut University were able to win the title for the second consecutive season.
The participation of Assiut University students came under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla, vice president for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Madiha Darwish, general coordinator of student activities, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the student welfare department, and Mr. Hashim Sayed Mohammed, director of the cultural activity Department and general supervisor of the delegation.
The Assiut University team consisted of 10 students from various faculties of the University: Abdulrahman Mahmoud Al-Badri (Faculty of Medicine), Mohammed Abu Al-Qasim Mohammed (Faculty of Medicine), Claudia Atef Fayez (Faculty of Medicine), Marwa Mahmoud Farghali (Faculty of sugar Technology), Karen Ayman (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine), Salfia Osama (Faculty of computers and information), Mina Fawzi Shahdi (Faculty of Fine Arts), Mohammed Ahmed Hassan Salim (Faculty of Commerce E), Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Ali (Faculty of sugar industry technology), Nasma Mustafa Khalifa (Faculty of Fine Arts).
Hend Mohamed Salah, Tahira Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Ahmed Nasreddine Ahmed, Mohamed Abdel Fattah Fouad, Abeer Yusri Ahmed, Umniah Ahmed Mohamed, Marwa Abdel Fattah Helmy, Dina Mohamed Osman, zeinaham Abdel Hafez Hamed also participated in supervising the students.
