- Dr. El-Minshawy appreciates the cooperation of the House of Representatives during the visit of students of the Faculty of Commerce to enhance parliamentary and political awareness and develop student skills

Under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, the Faculty of Commerce at Assiut University organized a scientific visit for the students of the faculty to the headquarters of the Egyptian House of Representatives, at the kind invitation of MP Yasser Omar Sheba, undersecretary of the plan and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives, with the participation of (50) students from the College Students Union and its various committees, in addition to students of study programs.

The visit came under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Abdul Hafeez, dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Adawi, vice dean for education and student affairs, advisor to the president of the University for Alumni affairs, entrepreneurship and innovation, and general supervisor of the delegation, Dr. Jacqueline Alvi, Assistant Coordinator of the English language program at the college, Mr. Tarek Sherit, Director General of Youth Welfare at the college, Mr. Mohammed Rabee of the Youth Welfare Department at the college, and student Abdul Rahman Mustafa, president of the college students ' union. 

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained that this visit comes within the framework of enhancing political awareness among the college students, increasing their political skills and experience, which is an essential part of preparing them for active participation in political life and spreading parliamentary culture among young people, as well as getting acquainted with the most important political developments in Egypt and the characteristics of its political systems.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy thanked and appreciated Hanafi Al-Jebali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, for the warm reception and hospitality received by the Assiut University delegation from all officials within the council. He praised their cooperation in facilitating the students ' task and informing them of all aspects related to the legislative and political work systems in the council. He also praised the national role played by the House of Representatives, stressing that it enjoys the confidence of the Egyptian people thanks to its ancient history, pointing out that the university always seeks to strengthen cooperation with national bodies and institutions to serve the Egyptian state.

Hanafi El-Gebaly, Speaker of the House of representatives, welcomed the delegation of students of the Faculty of Commerce, expressing his happiness with the presence of this promising youth from Assiut University in the sessions of the council, stressing that these students are the future leaders and the real wealth of Egypt.

The student delegation expressed their happiness and pride at this valuable experience, which was represented in the realistic simulation of work inside the House of Representatives. They had the opportunity to attend plenary sessions, inspect the council's Museum, the Pharaonic Hall specialized in committee sessions, in addition to meeting with a number of members of the House of Representatives, within the framework of activities and events organized by the College, which aims to develop students ' personal and academic skills and abilities, and carry out activities linking theoretical and practical study, and provide realistic simulation models that contribute to students gaining diverse experiences and skills in their field of study.
