Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for conducting the work of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, the activities of the Ramadan sports cycle in futsal, organized by Assiut Al-Ahlia University in cooperation with the University Students ' Union, kicked off during the period from March 15 to 20, on the playgrounds of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, under the supervision of Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of Assiut Al-Ahlia University for academic affairs, professor Mustafa Hassan, Secretary General of the University, and the Youth Welfare Department, in the presence of Dr. Sherine Abdel Ghaffar, director of programs at Al-Alsun college, and the participation of 32 teams including faculty members and students from various faculties of the private university.

  Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that this course aims to instill the spirit of sports competition among students, and enhance the values of friendliness and cooperation between faculty members and students, which contributes to creating a positive university environment based on interaction and participation, pointing out that the organization of the Ramadan course comes within the framework of the University's support for sports activities that contribute to building the student's personality at the physical and psychological levels, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership and within the vision of Egypt 2030 aimed at building the human being.

For his part, Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan explained that Assiut National University has a set of playgrounds equipped according to sports standards, which contributes to the organization of the course in a distinctive way, wishing success to all participating teams.

He added that the university is keen to provide an integrated sports environment for its students, and encourage them to practice various sports activities, because of its key role in developing their skills and building their personalities, stressing that such events contribute to strengthening ties between students and faculty, and consolidate the values of fair competition and teamwork.
