Assiut University organizes an introductory meeting with the "media Egypt summit" competition for innovation and entrepreneurship

Under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the university is organizing on Monday, April 14, an introductory meeting of the "media Egypt summit" competition for innovation and entrepreneurship, launched by the fund for the care of innovators and springs of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, in the Hall of Professor Dr. Mohammed Rafat Mahmoud in the administrative building of the University.

 

  The meeting will be held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration of student welfare, and Mr. Mohammed Juma, director of the arts department at the Department.

 

    Dr. El-Minshawy explained that the competition aims to spread the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and enable students to acquire new skills and knowledge that qualify them for distinguished career paths in the fields of media, arts and culture, in addition to promoting dialogue and exchange of visions among young people, which contributes to building an integrated knowledge society.

 

The president of Assiut University also pointed out the University's keenness to provide a stimulating environment that encourages innovation and build a new generation of young competencies capable of contributing to development and meeting challenges with modern scientific methods.

 

  Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla explained that the competition is a special opportunity for ambitious young people to highlight their talents and skills, and to contribute effectively to enriching and developing the Egyptian cultural and media scene. He pointed out that the competition also aims to highlight the efforts of innovators and entrepreneurs, as well as the institutions supporting them, by honoring their works and turning them into creative ideas and projects that can be implemented and supported.

 

The competition tracks are divided into two main areas that allow students to express their ideas and talents, namely: short filmmaking, which includes documentaries, short feature films, animation films, and digital media, including digital journalism (such as a press site and Digital Magazine), Digital Advertising (Reels), talk shows, and integrated marketing campaigns, in order to enable participants to submit creative content reflecting their abilities in the fields of media, arts, and culture.
