Since 1957, The Department of Chemistry has been developing rapidly. One of our important tasks in this Department is to create a climate that encourages excellence and productive scientific work and spur all members to do their best.

Out of the 128 departments at AUN, the department of Chemistry is the largest department in Assiut University and second largest department in Upper Egypt.

Labs

Our Labs are well equipped for our students.

The department includes 4 students’ laboratories:-

1. General Chemistry Lab.
2. Analytical Lab.
3. Organic Chemistry Lab.
4. Physical Chemistry Lab.
