Candidacy of faculty members of the teaching staff in all fields between the Egyptian government and other countries

The Dean of the College held a meeting with the faculty members of the quality coordinators in the faculty to discuss the formation of the committees and the working method of the Quality Unit to renew the accreditation.

According to the Presidential decree number 218/2007, under which the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) was founded, the STDF mandate is to promote Science and Technology (S&T) through funding scientific research and technology development in a way that supports the complete cycle of innovation. The STDF vision is to act as a tool of change for the improvement of the life of Egyptians. Its mission is to generate a critical mass of human, logistic and infrastructure resources that are needed for a complete cycle of innovation. Consequently, the STDF’s specific objectives are to fund S&T activities, develop innovation capacity, enhance and monitor S&T systems and develop appropriate and flexible funding mechanisms for S&T. A major component of the STDF’s general plan is to implement its objectives within the context of the national S&T development strategy, which is the direct product of the Higher Council of Science & Technology and the individual strategies of the Egyptian Ministries. New formation of the board of Directors of some units and centers at the Faculty of Engineering Assiut University

The board was presented with the approval of the Board of the Mechanical Engineering Section and the Committee on Cultural Relations for the presence of Mr. D./Ahmed Saad Ali-teacher in the Department – International Conference on Computer Engineering XIII since his lordship has an acceptable research at the conference, which was held from 27:28/12/2017 in Cairo to bear University travel expenses. Resolution: the Council approved The board was presented with the approval of the Board of the electrical Engineering Section and the Committee on Cultural Relations for the presence of Mr. A. D./Momin Taha Hanafi-Professor in the Department of the Conference "International Trends in Computer Engineering", to be held from 19:21/2/2018, Aswan, where his lordship has an acceptable search at the conference. The university must bear the travel expenses Resolution: the Council approved The Council was presented with the approval of the Board of the electrical Engineering Section and the Committee for Cultural Relations to attend the conference in the Department of International the second for Interdisciplinary sciences, which will be held from 28:30/1/2018 m in the Caribbean resort of Soma Bay in the Red Sea with the grenres where Its sovereignty is acceptable to the Conference, and travel expenses are to be borne by the university. Dr. Kamel Abdel Nasser Ahmed – professor in the Department of the Ninth International Conference on the Development and environment in the Arab world, held at Assiut University, from 25:27/3/2018 to the university to bear expenses Travel. Resolution: the Council approved The board was presented with the approval of the Board of the mechanical Engineering Section for the presence of Mr. A. Dr. Ahmed Hamza Husseini on the Conference of Hope for the quest for Einstein in Africa and the Mediterranean basin, to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, from 4:6/4/2018, where his lordship has an acceptable search at the conference. The Board of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Committee on Cultural Relations was presented with the approval of the application of Mr. A. Dr. Mohammed Kamel Al-Sharbini and Mr. A. D./Mazen Mohamed Shafiq Abdel Salam on the postponement of the hosting of the 20th International Conference of Power Systems Mepcon20 for 2019 m instead of 2018 from 18 to 20/12/2019 until the necessary approvals are obtained for the Conference.

The Board of the Faculty of Engineering was presented with a briefing by the Committee on Education and Student Affairs on the speech of Mr. A. Dr./Chairman of the Council of Physics Department-Faculty of Science on teaching physics to students of the Preparatory Division in Arabic or English, starting with the next semester. The Committee recommends that the rapporteur be taught in Arabic, with the beginning of next year hopefully 2018/2019. Resolution: The Council approved the decision of the Committee on Education and Student affairs.
