Assiut University wins advanced positions in the competitions of the youth week of universities and schools of the central upper region in its second edition and confirms its leadership and its distinguished competitive position

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, praised the outstanding performance presented by students in the competitions of the youth week of universities and schools of the central upper region in its second edition, stressing that this achievement reflects Assiut University's keenness to encourage student activities and develop students ' skills in various fields. He also stressed the University's continued support for innovation and creativity, and providing the appropriate environment for the development of students ' abilities and enhancing their skills.

Assiut University has achieved a new achievement by winning advanced positions in the competitions of the youth week of universities and schools of the central upper region, which witnessed a wide participation from various universities, under the auspices of Dr. Mohammed Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research, Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, governor of Assiut, Dr. Jamal Taj, President of the New Assiut Technological University, and Dr. Ali Mohammed, vice president of the New Assiut Technological University for education and student affairs.

  Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, congratulated the university students for their honorable representation of the University during their participation in the week's activities, and their success in winning a number of first places in several competitive sports, artistic and cultural fields, stressing that this victory is the culmination of the efforts of students and supervisors who worked hard and persistently to achieve this excellence.

  The students of Assiut University won the first place in the competition of geniuses universities, and the winning student team included: Ahmed Mohammed Hassan, Marwa Mahmoud Farghali, Mina Fawzi Shahdi, Karen Ayman Adib, Claudia Atef Fayez, and Abdulrahman Mahmoud al-Badri. Student Rita Ashraf Gad also won the first place in the table tennis competition for the female student category, and student Shahad Khairy won the first place in the solo singing competition.

The participation of Assiut University students came under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla, vice president for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Madiha Darwish, general supervisor of student activities, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the general student welfare department, Mr. Mohammed Juma, director of the artistic activity Department, Mr. Ihab Ramadan, director of the sports activity Department, and Mr. Hashim Sayed, director of the cultural activity Department.
