Dr. El-Minshawy: the scout competition promotes the spirit of cooperation and honest competition between them
Under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the committee of Rangers and public service at the College of education for early childhood Students ' Union organized, on Monday, February 24, the activities of the "scout competition to hone scouting skills" at the level of the University's faculties, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Yara Ibrahim, dean of the College of education for early childhood.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, stressed that this competition contributes to the development of University Youth Skills and refining their scouting abilities, in addition to enhancing the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among them, and instilling the values of patriotism and belonging in them. He explained that the competition is one of the most prominent scouting events held at the level of the University's faculties, and aims to discover and develop scouting talents, and prepare a generation of young people capable of taking responsibility and participating in building the nation.
Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla, vice president for education and Student Affairs, praised the performance of the participating students, stressing the University's keenness to support the diverse student activities for their pivotal role in the formation of students ' personality and the development of their skills, which helps them gain multiple experiences and cultures. He also pointed out the importance of scouting and roaming activities in promoting the spirit of national affiliation, discipline and teamwork, in addition to consolidating the principle of honest competition among students within the framework of scouting principles.
For her side, Dr. Yara Ibrahim, dean of the Faculty of early childhood education, thanked the university administration for its continuous support for student activities, including mobile activity and public service, noting that the spirit of cooperation and harmony between students of different colleges enhances their desire to work in continuous diligence.
The competition witnessed the participation of (11) faculties from various faculties of the University, where each faculty was represented by three students and a supervisor. The participants competed in several scouting fields, most notably:
The best KJ Scout 4×4 camping contest, which included a Hayek stay, a flying flagpole, a ground fence, and a written Scout information contest, which tested participants ' knowledge about scouting skills and principles.

Dr. Tarek Salam, teacher at the Department of psychological sciences and advisor to the Ranger committee at the college, professor Wael Salah, director of the Youth Welfare Department at the college and leader of the Sea Scouts Association in Assiut, student Omima Mustafa, head of the Student Union, student Mohammed Alaa, Secretary of the Ranger committee, student Damiana Barh and Ness, assistant secretary of the Ranger committee.

The competition concluded with the announcement of the winning teams and the distribution of certificates of appreciation, where the results were as follows: first place: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of specific education, second place: Faculty of Sports Sciences, Faculty of Social Work, third place: Faculty of Education, Faculty of law.
The competition witnessed a great interaction from the participants and demonstrated a high level of scouting skills, which reflects the success of the event in achieving its goals by developing the abilities of students and enhancing the spirit of cooperation and honest competition between them.
