Prof. Ahmed Al-Menshawi, President of Assuit University, visited today the University’s Pavilion at the International University, Scholarship and Training Exhibition “EDU Gate 2023”, which is held from the 30^th of July to the 1^ST of August. He met with a number of presidents of governmental and private universities. 

During his visit, the President of Assuit University praised the idea of educational exhibitions which are considered an appropriate place where a number of universities and educational, research, and university institutions gather in one place. He also stressed the keenness of Assuit University to participate in the events of EDU Gate exhibition as it is one of the most important university and training exhibitions in Egypt. This exhibition gives students the chance to determine their university studies and enables them to learn about the different academic programs offered by universities. He pointed out that both Assuit Governmental University and Assiut Private University have worked to develop many new academic programs that would suit the needs of the local, regional and international labor market.

Dr. Rehab Al-Dakhili, the University’s Media Advisor, stated that “EDU Gate” is considered one of the biggest higher education gatherings in Egypt and the Arab region. More than 100 of the most important Egyptian, governmental, private and international universities participate in this gathering. She also pointed out that Assuit University’s Pavilion participating in EDU Gate Exhibition witnesses a huge turnout of school and university students as well as parents. This emphasizes that the university programs keep up with the latest educational systems and programs that conform to the international standards in different disciplines where the participating universities compete in attracting students by presenting the distinctive aspects of their educational programs. The exhibition is also visited by the presidents and leaders of Egyptian, Arab, and international universities. The exhibition is considered an opportunity to exchange ideas and visions and to learn about the latest trends in the field of higher education in the region and the world.

The exhibition is supervised, prepared and organized by Mr. Ghareeb Khairy Zaki, general manager of the General Administration for Public Relations and Media; Mr. Ahmed Hossam El-Din, manager of the Study and Examination Affairs and Administration; Mr. Abdel-Hamid Amr Abdel-Malik, manager of the Graduate Affairs Administration; Mr. Hatem Moustafa Saleh, manager of the International Student Affairs Administration; and Mr. Hussein Ahmed Hussein Mr. Amr Hussein Ahmed and Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed, public relations and media specialists.
