Policies

The students must have obtained a bachelor’s degree with at least a ‘Good’ GPA in the specialized field from one of the Egyptian commerce faculties or any equivalent degree from any other institute recognized by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.

The student’s registration may be accepted with less than Good GPA in case he scores ‘Good’ in the Postgraduate diplomas from one of the Egyptian commerce faculties recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Important notes when applying to Commerce Masters at AUN:

  1. The specialized department estimates the courses program from the approved courses by the faculty’s Council in a way that simulates the subject of the research and to make sure that they are not less than 42 credit hours.
  2. After completing the study of 24 credit hours, you may prepare an applied research on a topic determined by the supervisor  Approved by the relevant department council, the Higher Studies and Research Committee and the College Council.
  3. The research is evaluated through a committee formed by the specialized department.
  4. A TOEFL certificate is a must before starting to prepare for the research.
  5.  You may carry a professional master's degree after the program requirements have been successfully completed, with a minimum GPA 3.0.
  6. The specialized department council may obligate you to pass some of the courses that the supervisor determines from the department’s programs.
  7. Studying Masters must take maximum 2 years
Master of science degree

The Masters of Science degree in the department related specialties:

  1. The specialized department estimates the courses program from the approved courses by the faculty’s Council in a way that simulates the subject of the research and to make sure that they are not less than 18 credited hours.
  2. After completing the study of 12 credited hours, you may prepare a scientific thesis evaluated as 18 credit hours in a subject;

- Approved by the supervisor, the relevant department council, the Higher Studies and Research Committee and the College Council.

 

Duration

The duration of the study is not less than two years; one from the date of enrollment and a year from the date of registration of the research subject
