Research Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the outcomes of combined Mathieu and Snodgrass urethroplasty for
distal hypospadias repair and to compare them with the two techniques separately.
Methods: Between January 2006 and February 2009, patients with distal hypospadias were
prospectively randomized to undergo one of the three following urethroplasty techniques:
Mathieu urethroplasty, Snodgrass urethroplasty or a combination of the two. Operative time,
