About Department

The Department of Medical Pharmacology was established in 1960 and included a group of elite professors who subsequently established the departments of pharmacology in other universities.

The Department of Medical Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, is one of the important scientific departments that strive to provide outstanding education by preparing scientifically and practically qualified cadres that meet that standards of the labor market

With the continuous changing health sector, we need to stay up to date with the technical and scientific development that enables us to provide high quality education to our students. The department's scientific research plan has been updated based on an analysis of the current situation with regard to the department's scientific research and based on the scientific research plan and the college's strategic plan.
