Continuing to support the Faculty of Nursing, and his keenness to develop the educational and research system, and enhance the status of the Faculty in a way that contributes to advancing the academic and training process, in the presence of the Faculty's deputies, heads of scientific departments, and members of the Faculty council.

The honor came during the Faculty Council meeting, where prof. Fatima Rushdi, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, presented the Faculty's shield to prof. Ahmed El-Menshawy, in appreciation of his continuous support for the Faculty, his contributions to developing its educational and research infrastructure, and providing an advanced academic and training environment that contributes to preparing qualified nursing cadres according to academic and professional standards.

prof. Ahmed El-Menshawy expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Faculty of Nursing Council for this honor, stressing that the achievements of the Faculty of Nursing are the result of teamwork and cooperation between the university administration and the faculty members, praising the vital role played by the faculty in preparing distinguished nursing cadres who contribute to supporting the health system and enhancing the quality of health care provided to citizens.

The University President emphasized that developing the nursing sector is a key component of the University's strategy to advance the health system, based on the vital role nursing staff play in providing healthcare. He explained that the university continues to support the Faculty of Nursing on its path towards excellence, by enhancing its educational, research and training capabilities, in line with the latest academic standards, and contributing to the graduation of qualified cadres capable of meeting the needs of the labor market and serving society efficiently.

For her part, prof. Fatima Rushdi stressed that this honor comes as an expression of the Faculty family's appreciation for the continuous support and care provided by prof. Ahmed El-Menshawy, which had a significant impact on the implementation of many development plans and the provision of the necessary capabilities to enhance the educational and research process, which enabled the Faculty to implement its academic and research plans efficiently and contributed to achieving many accomplishments at various levels.
