What is new in community service at the university level?

• Holding the first seminar of the academic year 2009-2010 under the title "Together against H1N1". With lecturers from the leaders of the university and the Directorate of Health Affairs as well as the Ministry of Education in Assiut.
• Distributing bags called (the University Bag against Influenza), which contained a number of posters, brochures and CDs about information on infection methods and methods of preventing H1N1, and some posters were distributed on the building gates.
• Issuing a monthly magazine by the university's Center for Environmental Studies and Research, entitled (Assiut Journal of Environmental Studies) for all agents of community service and environmental development affairs.
• Holding the Fifth International Conference on Development and Environment in the Arab World on Sunday 3/21/2010.
