Dr. Al-Minshawy confirmed: On the importance of directing students to the labor market, and extending invitations to employment agencies; Based on the important role that the college plays in linking its graduates to the labor market, he pointed out that the employment day organized by the College of Nursing for bachelor’s and internship students aims to identify the available job opportunities, the basics of work, and the laws regulating the practice of the nursing profession. The recruitment day witnessed the presence of; Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nahed Shawkat, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Khaled Abdel Aziz, Director of the Main University Hospital, and with the participation of Dr. Mohamed Farrag, Director of the Misr Al Khair Foundation office in Assiut, In addition to a group of faculty members, the supporting staff, directors of various hospitals in Assiut Governorate, representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Health Insurance Authority, graduates, and students.

The recruitment day included: A number of important lectures through two scientific sessions: I took the first one; A lecture on: “The Professional Future of Nursing” by Dr. Nahid Shawkat, “CV Writing Skills” by Dr. Muhammad Suleiman, Director of the University’s Professional Development Center, and “How to Search for a Job” by Dr. Marwa Mustafa, Deputy Director of the Professional Development Center. The second session covered; A lecture on “Postgraduate Research” by Dr. Ikram Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research, “Nursing Ethics” by Dr. Fatima Rushdi.
