Faculty of Nursing – Assiut University – Scouting and Public Service Committee

As part of the Faculty of Nursing – Assiut University’s commitment to supporting purposeful student activities and promoting teamwork, the Faculty’s Scouting and Public Service Committee, in cooperation with the General Administration of Scouting and Public Service at the University’s Student Welfare Department, organized an introductory seminar on scouting and public service activities .

The seminar was held under the auspices of :

Mr. Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – University President

Mr. Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs

Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Muhammad – Dean of the Faculty of Nursing

And follow up on both :

Mr. Dr. Haitham Ibrahim – Director of the General Administration for Student Welfare at the University

Mr. Mahmoud Ahmed Abdel-Allah – Director of Student Welfare at the College of Nursing

Ms. Amna Elsayed Abdelrahim – Supervisor of Scouting and Public Service Activities

The seminar also witnessed a distinguished attendance from college students who are interested in and fond of scouting activities and public service .

The seminar was opened with a welcoming speech delivered by Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Muhammad, Dean of the College, in which she expressed her happiness at this meeting, and emphasized in her speech the importance of scouting and public service activities, and their role in developing the spirit of volunteering and belonging among students, and their effective impact within the college and the university in general .

The event concluded with a distinguished lecture delivered by the leader, Dr. Omar Abdul Hamid Ahmed, during which he discussed the principles of scouting and the scouting movement, and the importance of this activity in building the student personality and promoting community values .
