An introductory seminar about scouting activities and public service.
Faculty of Nursing – Assiut University – Scouting and Public Service Committee
In line with the Faculty of Nursing at Assiut University's commitment to supporting meaningful student activities and fostering a spirit of teamwork, the Faculty's Scouting and Public Service Committee, in cooperation with the General Administration for Scouting and Public Service at the University's Student Welfare Department, organized an introductory seminar on scouting and public service activities.
The seminar was held under the auspices of:
Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – University President
Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs
Professor Dr. Fatima Roshdy Mohamed – Dean of the Faculty of Nursing
And with the follow-up of:
Dr. Haitham Ibrahim – Director of the General Administration for Student Welfare at the University
Mr. Mahmoud Ahmed Abdel-Lah – Director of Student Welfare at the Faculty of Nursing
Ms. Amna El-Sayed Abdel-Rahim – Supervisor of Scouting and Community Service

The seminar also witnessed a distinguished attendance of students from the Faculty who are interested in and passionate about Scouting and Community Service activities.
The seminar opened with a welcoming address by Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, who expressed her delight at the gathering. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of scouting and community service activities, their role in fostering a spirit of volunteerism and belonging among students, and their positive impact within the Faculty and the University as a whole.
The event concluded with a distinguished lecture delivered by Dr. Omar Abdel Hamid Ahmed, who discussed the principles of scouting and the scouting movement, and the importance of this activity in building student character and strengthening community values.
