The vaccination campaign for nursing students against Hepatitis B has been launched at the Faculty of Nursing, Assiut University. Under the auspices of: Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem – Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Fatima Roshdy Mohamed – Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Prof. Dr. Nahed Shawkat Abu El-Magd – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in cooperation with the Infection Control Department at Assiut University Hospital, the Faculty of Nursing at Assiut University is organizing a vaccination campaign against Hepatitis B. The campaign targets students of the Faculty of Nursing and the Technical Institute of Nursing. It will begin on Sunday, September 29th, and will run for three months.

 

- Vaccination days: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

 

Supervised by: Dr. Amal Abdel-Shafy – Director of the Medical Clinic at the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Asmaa Mohamed Abdel-Aziz – Director of the Infection Control Unit at Assiut University Hospital

 

Location: Medical Clinic – Faculty of Nursing. The opening ceremony was conducted by Professor Dr. Yahab Abdel-Radi Thabet, Deputy Director of the Infection Control Center at the University Hospital, and Dr. Amani Mehran.

 

We urge all students to get vaccinated as soon as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you. Prevention is better than cure.
